These terms govern your collaboration as a tutor on Korra Academy, operated by Origin Ten Ltd. By submitting a tutor application you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted this agreement in full.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to provide the services offered. All applications are reviewed by Command; approval is at Origin Ten Ltd’s sole discretion and may be declined or revoked at any time. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information and for keeping it up to date.
All material, video, notes, exercises, and other content you create for or deliver through the platform is assigned to, and becomes the exclusive intellectual property of, Origin Ten Ltd, the owner and operator of DEFENSE_GRID. This assignment is worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and royalty-free. You waive any moral rights in that content to the extent permitted by law. You retain ownership of pre-existing material you already owned before the collaboration, but you grant Origin Ten Ltd a perpetual licence to use it where it is incorporated into platform content.
Content you submit must be your own original work or properly licensed, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and free of malicious code. You may not upload material that infringes third-party rights, is unlawful, or promotes real attacks against systems you are not authorised to test. Security topics must be taught only in an educational, defensive, and authorised-testing context.
Compensation is calculated from completed, non-refunded sessions and credit-backed bookings recorded in your Tutor Console, at the rates communicated to you at the time of engagement. Origin Ten Ltd may deduct platform, processing, and refund costs before payout. Payment schedules, minimums, and methods are detailed in the Tutor Console and may be updated with reasonable notice. You are responsible for any taxes arising from your earnings.
You will treat operators with respect, keep sessions professional, and follow the platform’s community standards. Harassment, discrimination, misrepresenting credentials, and any attempt to move payments or students off-platform are prohibited and may result in immediate termination.
You will keep confidential any non-public information about operators, other tutors, and Origin Ten Ltd that you access during your collaboration. You will handle personal data only to the extent necessary to deliver sessions, in line with the platform’s Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law, and will not retain or reuse operator data after a session ends.
Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. You act as an independent contractor, control how you deliver sessions, and are responsible for your own equipment, insurance, and legal obligations. You may not bind Origin Ten Ltd or represent yourself as its employee or agent.
Either party may end this collaboration at any time. Origin Ten Ltd may suspend or cancel your tutor account immediately for breach of these terms, credible complaints, or risk to operators or the platform. On termination you must stop delivering sessions; intellectual property already assigned and confidentiality obligations continue to apply.
The platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Origin Ten Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Origin Ten Ltd may update these terms; continuing to deliver sessions after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Origin Ten Ltd may commission you to produce video lessons or other recorded content for the platform library. Each commission is agreed in advance in writing, including its scope and a fixed production fee; that fee is the full consideration for the commissioned content, and no royalty or other recurring payment is due unless expressly agreed in writing. Commissioned content is assigned to Origin Ten Ltd under section 02. You grant Origin Ten Ltd a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use your name, image, voice, and likeness as they appear in recorded content, including in excerpts used to promote the platform on its own channels and on third-party platforms such as public video sites. Published lessons may credit you and link to your tutor profile. This licence survives termination of this agreement; after termination Origin Ten Ltd will, on written request, make reasonable efforts not to feature your likeness in new promotional material, but content and excerpts already published may remain in use.
